Week 31- Baby Boy is The Size of A Bunch of Asparagus

32 Weeks, 2 Days

Week 31 was a good one with out much change. Same story as far as rib pain, but still sleeping like a champ! I've found relief with a heating pad, and laying in bed. Don't ask me why, but laying on the couch doesn't help, just laying in bed. Also, our stubborn lil sweet pea likes to kick back if I try to push him out of my ribs so I've stopped doing that. His movements are getting so strong that he knocked the heart monitor off my belly at our Dr. appointment last week! The tech, and I both started laughing, and he did it again. He's such an adorable lil stinker already. He doesn't respond to light very well. Some women have said their babies will respond if you put a flash light to the belly, mine won't. He'll also completely stop moving if I lift my shirt up, and it's my bare belly in a bright room. He doesn't respond any more or any less to different music genres. So far, I'd describe his personality as fisty :-) We also had our first baby prep class this week. Parts of it were a bit strange, but the information is good to have. There was a really strong reaction from the men in the room when the teacher showed what our organs look like normally, then showed what they look like at the end of pregnancy. All of the women got a kick out of it.

 

How far along? 32 weeks, 2 Days today

Total weight gain/loss? 22 lbs with 8 weeks to go

Maternity clothes? Wardrobe is VERY limited now.

Stretch marks? None thankfully.

Sleep? Sleeping like a rock

Best moment this week? Meeting our friends Jesse & Kyleigh's baby for the first time since he was born a few weeks ago! He's so precious, and we both left their house feeling blissful/ anxious for our son to get here.

Miss Anything? Rare Steak

 

Movement? Getting stronger every day, but it's still not painful.

Food/Drink cravings? Nothing in particular this week.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Not queasy, but I am getting SO FULL so easily. I'm probably only eating about 1/2 every day what I had been eating the past few months. 
  
Have you started to show yet? The only thing that hides it now is a sweatshirt!

Gender? It's a BOY!

 

Labor Signs? Nope

 

Belly Button in or out? We're closer to an outie, than an innie at this point

Happy or Moody most of the time? Very happy

Looking forward to? The shower Kelsey and her mom are throwing <3
