Week 30 was an eye-opener that the easy days of pregnancy are over. There's rib pain every day now, and it doesn't go away from walking around like it has thus far. I've found that using a heating pad, and laying down/stretching out helps eventually, but it's not a quick fix. Sitting at my desk all day at work is pretty much torture. Deep breath in, deep breath out... 8 1/2 more weeks. I'm also getting uncomfortably full off of barely any food. Clay made the observation that the rib pain seems to get noticeably worse after I eat..... so there's the battle of hunger vs. rib pain. That's been fun. I'm sure I'll get over this slump, and embrace the uncomfort/get back to loving being pregnant, but it was a pretty steady week of pain, and it got to me mentally for sure. Kelsey gave the best words of wisdom from her mama, that "it'll get better around March 9th, and then you'll forget all about it." I believe her, and I'm going to hold on to that these next 2 months.
How far along? 31 weeks, 2 Days today
Total weight gain/loss? Haven't checked since we got back from vacation. Last weigh in was at 20 lbs, and I'm supposed to gain 1/2 lb per week for the remainder of pregnancy.
Maternity clothes? Wardrobe is VERY limited now.
Stretch marks? None thankfully.
Sleep? Sleeping like a rock, but am waking up noticeably earlier.
Best moment this week? Spending the whole weekend barely leaving the house! Ah it felt so good to just kick back finally.
Miss Anything? Rare Steak
Movement? Getting stronger every day, but it's still not painful.
Food/Drink cravings? Nothing in particular this week.
Anything making you queasy or sick? Nope!
Have you started to show yet? The only thing that hides it now is a sweatshirt!
Gender? It's a BOY!
Labor Signs? Nope
Belly Button in or out? We're closer to an outie, than an innie at this point
Happy or Moody most of the time? More so moody this week
Looking forward to? The baby shower with the ebar girls in a few weeks <3
